With anime, you have much more freedom since you can exaggerate features. As to what you should try, just do whatever you please! You can even draw in between. Preference ranges to person to person, so just do whatever you want when it comes to coloring. However, color can make a drawing more striking. There's really nothing more I can say but to just keep practicing!"
