I used to wish I could fly, turn invisible or move things with my mind.
But... now I actually wish I'd have the power to heal. Both myself and others.

the power to fly or to spawn wings (no bus or car needed), the ability to breathe underwater or have retractable gills (easier to save drowning people and can stay in the water longer), being able to dance to any song though i can think of consequences,seeing an inner demon or whats bothering them (it would depend), telepathy would be cool, teleporting would also be cool (could see old friends and get to places faster), see who loves me romantically (could help with suspicions)

If you want to have powers, why not work with your friend on acquiring them? If you want to learn something that badly, and you have a friend who is experienced with it, it seems kind of silly that you'd still be "not really one to know about these things" — why haven't you asked him more about it? I'm not criticizing you; I'm just surprised that you wouldn't know more about it by now if you're that interested.

well its not really something you can learn he said.
He got them because he said it was his fate and his life mission to get them.
If im not meant to have them, then I cant get them.

But it's your life. Isn't your life mission whatever you decide it is? If magic is real, being able to do it is important enough to me that I'd consider it my life mission. Shouldn't that be what matters most when it comes to something about myself?
Regardless, many others I've spoken to on this topic (a majority in fact) have said anyone can obtain them, but it's just easier for some people. So you should probably bring that up with him; maybe he's wrong and you can learn it too. That's a possibility you wouldn't want to pass up on, right?
Can I talk to him? Maybe he could give me some perspective on my own situation too. If the universe itself, or whatever it is, refuses to let me have what's probably the one thing I'd love to have more than anything else, I'd at least like to understand why. I'm not a bad person. If I had my way and everyone had unlimited powers, it wouldn't even be possible to do bad because everyone would have the power to not be affected by anything they don't like, and nothing can be bad if it doesn't hurt anyone.
What can he and his friend do anyway? Is it anything they could show me? Because really I'd love to just see it for myself, and I've been looking for that for a long time. (And no, not for the reason you might think from looking at my profile.

He has a privacy complex, he hates letting other people know anything about him.
There's no info on him except what he put on his da page, nobody but people he knows in real life know what he looks like or sounds like.
I only know him through text and what he's told me.

Oh, okay. I thought you knew him personally. Do you mean he hasn't told you anything specific he's done, or just that you're not sure he'd be okay with you telling me? Because if he has told you, maybe he'll be willing to tell me as well, but of course if he'd rather not then I'll still respect that.
Come to think of it, I've seen that a lot with people who are into this; they're often very private about things. Which can be rather frustrating for someone like me who really wants someone to show them it's real.

If I had to have any power, I would like to have the ability to make those around me have a good day and make them happy. I know that I wish this would happen to me where someone would make me have a good day so I know that I bet others want the same. I like to help people!
