what i don't get is how come they made jack go through reverse puberty. i mean, his voice sounds like he dropped a heavy toolbox on his nuts

In short: The production of the show moved to Canada, and there's a law that keeps non-residents of the country from voice acting. Danny Cooksey, Jack's voice actor, is not a resident of Canada. Since Tara Strong, the voice of Omi, was handy, they grabbed her for a quick animation test. And the trailer was only a leaked trial animation-- they'll probably find somebody else for Jack. In fact, though I'm not sure, I believe I read that Tara was ONLY doing it for the test, she will NOT be voicing Jack.

Yeah. I'm confident they'll find somebody good, though. Chase and Kimiko's voice actors have to be changed for the same reason, too.
