I haven't even attempted an animation yet (and can't till I get Poser pro because 32 bit sucks) but I may try it with this one. Unfortunately I won't be able to make the bubble pop, because that would require some really tricky dynamic movement setups that I can't do.Β

That's understandable, my friend is trying to do the same thing using Daz3d so your not the only one.
but when you do try I wish you the best of luck and if it's possible to link me your bubble gum prop.
In exchange for 3 month membership since you work hard on it.

I didn't save the morphs or anything, but all the prop is is the morphing sphere that came with poser, I parented it to her mouth, slightly morphed it using the preexisting dials (although you can't really tell from that angle), added color to it (edge blend I think, bottom color pink, top right), added a small reflection node, and set the transparency at 80%.Β
I'll be making an actual prop prop in zbrush hopefully this weekend (assuming I get the hang of the program) and then I'll upload it here and to cgshare as a freebie.Β
Then I'll get back to my tattoo scripts where I can add any tattoo to any V4 model (I have it working on DAZ3D for the most part, but the python script is a whole lot more complex)

I've been busy but good. Trying to figure out zbrush and running a bunch of ideas through my head for my next project.Β

That's good, hope the ideas don't become to complicated for you
depending on what your thinking to do.

Working on a new Nautolan image or two now, going to end up finally just saving a base one so I don't have to build them from scratch every time, then pose afterwards (may have to pick up Poser Pro so I can actually save everything because its time consuming)
And toying around with an idea for a new Batgirl concept that would be more based off of the last movies (a more realistic batgirl suit)

Cool and that's a good idea, I want to do the same when I learn
to use flash animation. ( like you said it'll save so much time )
That's gonna be interesting to see, how long would it take to create
the character?

LascielX In reply to D4RKPR1NCE-86 [2014-05-25 06:05:44 +0000 UTC]
The base model for the nautolan took about an hour to set up.Β
I can't seem to find the download anymore for it, but Northwatcher did a Lekku set that I've had forever, instead of the prop including the headpiece, it is just the individual lekku itself (and there is a morph to make it look right). Basically I just load 11 of the single lekkus, shrink them all to 75%, arrange them to the back of the head, and then parent them to the head. I put the character in the proper position and then I adjust each lekku individually (which takes quite a while).Β
I'm actually working on finishing up the pose now, and then after a few tweaks and adding in the scene, I'll have it up. Probably in the next four hours.Β

Impressive, well that what happens when you can't find the download you search if snorgers have done it.
Clever and I saw your model, very sexy you must be proud of that one.
plus backgrounds are always important with every character you do.
whos your favourite character?

LascielX In reply to D4RKPR1NCE-86 [2014-05-25 22:13:48 +0000 UTC]
Out of Star Wars, my favorite characters are Mara Jade and Jaina Solo, which I'm actually thinking of doing renders for soon.Β
The idea for using the Lekkus isn't my idea, a friend of mine that got me into Poser god the idea from Alphradite or something like that here, a person that does some of the best Star Wars renders I've seen.Β
And yeah, background is important, more so now than before, just unfortunately I can't run a lot of the backgrounds I want on my version of poser (it runs out of memory). So may bite the bullet and spend the extra few hundred for the upgrade when it goes on sale again

LascielX In reply to D4RKPR1NCE-86 [2014-05-28 19:32:43 +0000 UTC]
I never have really done Star Wars fan art, so never actually did any renders of them.Β
With comics, I feel I can more readily take my own artistic license to tweak the characters a bit, I always have had issues altering characters from Sci-Fi series. I think its because there is more "Canon" with them and I don't like going against it.Β
Right now money is really tight (had to get my car fixed, and buy a new AC unit for my house) so DA and other things aren't a priority until we get caught up. And then I plan on getting Poser Pro since its 64 bit and I can do more complex renders (nothing like having a higher res image with lots of background stuff to crash mid way through the render because the software hit its memory cap). But once I get that, I do plan on getting premium back.

Until now, of course you probably made a whole list of characters that you wantΒ
to render, Star Wars, Batman Characters ect.
I understand, there's only do so much with each character depending on there characteristic,Β
poses and appearance. If you decide to render them in a odd matter then it doesn't suit theΒ
character at all.Β
Im sorry to hear, hope it didn't chew a lot of money in your pocket,
Of course, your madly obsess to get it and hope you do more soon.Β
At least pro will give you a endless use of what it has to offer for you.
And I'll be looking forward to see more bubble blowing Harley Quinn.
did you end up finishing the prop or not until pro?

I started working on the prop in zbrush a little bit last weekend, but real life intereferred so I wasn't able to finish it. This weekend should be nice and relaxed and I'll be able to work on it some more, and I hope finish it.

Hopefully, weather is always unpredictable now and then. And there's no real rush is there?

LascielX In reply to D4RKPR1NCE-86 [2014-05-30 08:44:03 +0000 UTC]
There is a rush, but it is on me because I really an to learn zbrush because I want to start doing more custom morphs (for example, I made a Purelbood Sith face morph in one program, but it wouldn't export back to Poser but I could export it back to Zbrush and then export it to Poser).Β
That, and I really want to get some things made to eventually sell (been working on too many projects, morphs, clothing, and tattoos mainly). This way I could justify buying upgrades to my PC more often, and getting some better software.Β

Ah I hate it when that happens, I've had a few problem transferring pics or vids from 2-3 different program's.Β
Well the only way the you already know buy the poser pro, how much is it?
π: 0 β©: 1
LascielX In reply to D4RKPR1NCE-86 [2014-05-30 23:12:48 +0000 UTC]
To go from Poser 10 (which is what I'm using) to Pro is $250.
They do occasionally go on sale, so hoping to be able to get the upgrade for 150 or 200

That's a little pricey, but I know it worth it.
how much have you put a side?

LascielX In reply to D4RKPR1NCE-86 [2014-05-31 05:00:11 +0000 UTC]
Right now, nothing, the car and new AC drained our savings account.Β
So working on replenishing it now. I'll probably have Pro in August after we are caught back up (assuming no other major problems come up). But I should be able to do my morphs in ZBrush just fine, but if it goes on sale before then I'll pick up the upgrade once it goes on sale (they've been having sales every so often, and betting they do one soon for Summer)

That's a real shame but at least it's out of the way.
Well sales come and go as long as the ones you really
want show when you can afford it.
So apart from 3D art what else hobbies do you have?
