Brendon is a Myceliad, and the husband of the Dryad named Tamala. He was born from a Gribnik sprout that was left behind after the Myceliads were driven out of Arborum Forest, and he grew up foraging on his own, keeping secret from the Dryads and the Seyateli. He doesn't have much experience with talking to people because of this.However, his life of secrecy changed when he met the most beautiful Dryad he'd ever seen... Tamala was much more reclusive than the other Dryads, and would often wander the woods regularly. This led to her running into Brendon, and being the first Dyrad to know of his existence in his entire life. She panicked at first (the Myceliads did have a negative reputation with the Dryads after all) but after Brendon's insistence, she was willing to listen. She realized that Brendon wasn't so bad, and promised to keep him a secret from the rest of the Dryads.
Tamala kept coming back to visit Brendon, and the two of them became good friends... and eventually even lovers.
