This is the picture I drew for 's birthday. I took the picture with a different camera and I think it looks better than with my normal camera.This is a little baristor giving a sleepy ellator a cup of coffee. THe baristor is wide awake of course because he's downed a bunch of espresso beans to make that drink. This is on Hypertropique; the "water" is actually a highly oxygenated gel and you can see the hovering Crystal City in the top. There are some propellor palm trees and a floating stream, but those didn't some out as well as I would've liked.

The baristors can alter how they make the coffees; to produce anything from really bold all the way down to the very mildest of coffees. The beans grown on Hypertropique tend to have a bit sweeter flavor, rather than the heavy, almost bitter flavor here on Earth. Baristors can eat chocolate or berries to add other flavors, but they typically serve the coffee they make straight, for it has a pretty sweet, light flavor all on its own. The durians grown on Hypertropique tend to be much, much sweeter than those on earth, too. They think it's something in the soil or maybe a side effect of the Oxygel Ocean.

Thank you! I like to create characters that are very unique; one of the things I learned was to not worry about how strange the idea is. If I want a talking, flying radiotower....I will draw it.

The floating city in the background and the ellator's wings took forever because of the tiny areas, but I'm glad they came out the way they did. THanks for the comment
