Description Back in the days of the 1990's, there were five boys in one legendary band. Hee Jun, their leader, Kangta, Woo Hyuk, Tony An, and Jae Won all made up this wonderful band. Until one day in 2001, when they disbanded. From that day forward, there was a band of three. Jang Woo Hyuk, Tony An, and Lee Jae Won made up JTL...
"I'm sorry, I'll come by la--...no! I didn't ditch you! What?! Stop jumping to conclusions! NO! I do want to date you! HYE JIN, DON'T DO THIS TO ME!" Jae Won shouted at his phone and sobbed as he closed it, ruffling his hair.
"What's wrong, Jae?" Tony asked, walking into the room.
"Hye Jin thinks I ditched her yesterday when we were practicing late," he sighed, leaning back in his chair.
"Oh, girl troubles then," Tony laughed.
"You just can't make this easy for me, can you, Tony?"
"Nope, that'd be too nice. But I don't think she should be hard on you, you do have to set up your priorities a little better though."
"Priorities?" Jae Won sat up straight. "My priorities are to take care of myself, then the band, then my girlfriend."
"But taking care of yourself includes not getting beat up by a man named Hee Jun, right?"
Jae Won nodded. "I guess so," he hesitantly opened up his phone again, "should I call back and try to apologize again?"
"Yeah. It's worth a shot, I'll leave the room," he smiled as he headed for the door after picking up some of his things from the counter.
Woo Hyuk had been getting ready to enter when Tony was exiting, but instead of letting him pass, Tony just pushed Woo Hyuk out the door with him.
"What's going on?"
"Jae needs some time alone with his girlfriend."
"He's dating his phone?"
Tony rolled his eyes. "Yes, Woo Hyuk. He's dating his phone," he playfully hit Woo Hyuk up the back of his head. "No, it's Hye Jin."
Grinning, Woo Hyuk looked at Tony. "He named his phone Hye Jin now? Does he like Hee Jun's sister?"
This time Woo Hyuk was smart and ducked when Tony went to slap him again.
"You're too cruel, Tony. Thinking that violence is always the answer when violence is actually never the answer," Woo Hyuk said, picking at the dirt under his nails.
"Psh, maybe it is the answer for you, or maybe I just need to be more violent?"
Woo Hyuk paused for a moment and took in some air deeply before he responded.
"Violence, Tony...is NOT the answer, I just said that."
"Then what is?"
Simply smiling, Woo Hyuk was on his way back down the hall to go back into his own room to gather his jacket and wallet before he went to leave.

"Hye Jin, please, I'm sorry. We were practic--"
"Jae, don't explain to me. Just don't do it again, okay?"
"I can't promise that."
"Then I can't promise we'll be together for long."
"What?"
"If you can't stop ditching me like that then we clearly can't be dating."
"Hye Jin...!" Jae Won was running short on words, everything he'd wanted to say he had, but Hye Jin couldn't understand that his priorities placed the band before his girlfriend and he was scared of the reaction she'd give when she finds out.
"Jae Won, is your music more important than your future with me?"
"I..." there was something caught in his throat and he felt like it was his heart. If he told her that his music was more important, than his heart would stay inside him because that's where his heart lies, in music, but if he said it wasn't more important, he was afraid that his heart would be spat on the floor to be stomped on by his newly devoted girlfriend.
"Jae?" she insisted.
"It's just...I...I can't see myself not singing, but I can see myself not...not..."
"Not dating me?"
"No! No, not that!"
"Whatever Jae, call me back when you've got your priorities straight."
There was fury running through every cell in Jae Won's body. How could someone be so ignorant on his life when it was clearly stated for everyone to see? He even sang about how music is his life, and when it all comes down to it, music is the only way Jae Won had met Hye Jin, and if she can't be grateful to music for it's contribution to their relationship, then maybe Jae Won should keep his priorities the way they are.
"Jae?" Woo Hyuk knocked twice on the door and walked right in.
"What," Jae responded in a bitter mood.
"Wow, don't bite my tongue, I just wanted to know if you were okay?"
"Do I look okay?" Jae Won spun around in his chair to face the wall.
"Your face looks, um..." Woo Hyuk coughed, "hairy."
Jae Won looked down and smiled, but as he turned his chair back around, he threw his phone at Woo Hyuk who shifted just in time to dodge it.
"Dude! That could be dangerous! Don't throw your phone at me!"
"Just shut up," he said as he stood up to leave the building without getting anything he owned, his phone, his jacket, or even his glasses.
"Tony," Woo Hyuk's voice echoed down the halls. "Where are youuuuu?"
"You sound gay," Tony came out of the door and closed it.
"Maybe I am!" Woo Hyuk spoke rather loudly. "And if I am, I'm gay for you! HOW DOES THAT MAKE YOU FEEL, HUH, BIG GUY?"
Tony's jaw dropped and he furrowed his brows. "That'd be soooo awkward, please don't tell me you're gay. Are you really?"
Woo Hyuk blushed and smirked, "No," he lied, trying to convince himself that he really wasn't. He loved the girls, but Tony was different, being in Tony's presence made Woo Hyuk happier than his first kiss which was hard to believe, but was entirely true and Woo Hyuk himself couldn't understand it.
"Okay, good," Tony said looking Woo Hyuk up and down. "Don't be so uncomfortable, let's go," he said as he tugged on his jacket to go out into the dark, cold, still night.
"Right," Woo Hyuk nodded as he quickly pulled his on as well, following Tony as he left the building.
When they arrived outside, they overheard Jae Won talking, but Woo Hyuk remembered that he had thrown his phone and didn't bother picking it up, so he was curious about who Jae Won was talking to.
His words were really unclear, so he might've just been talking to himself, but then Woo Hyuk heard a sob.
"Jae?"
Jae Won gasped and wiped at his eyes, trying to avoid looking at either one of the two men standing at the door, "Yeah?" he tried to make it seem as clear as possible.
"Are you okay?"
"Yeah, I'm fine," he said through a sorrowful tone.
"Liar," Tony responded, approaching Jae Won cautiously.
"I just don't get why I'm always set up to be the one ending in the depressed mood when I do everything exactly the same as everyone else," he sobbed, "why can't my life just be like yours? Or Woo Hyuk's?"
Tony looked back at Woo Hyuk and chuckled, "I'm pretty sure Woo Hyuk's life is no better, mine isn't either. Just relax and take it one step at a time, okay?"
"Whatever," Jae Won shook off Tony's hand from his shoulder, "I'm going home. Call me later."
Woo Hyuk yelled after Jae Won and threw him his phone when he turned, "If you expect a phone call, you might want to keep that with you," he continued.
"Thanks," Jae Won said, going back to walking towards his home in the cold night of winter.
Shaking his head, Woo Hyuk walked to stand side-by-side with Tony, "There's clearly something wrong in his relationship with Hye Jin and it's not supposed to be there."
"Duh?" Tony started to play with the tips of his teeth as he proceeded forward, "I'm going to eat. Want to come?"
With excitement, Woo Hyuk jumps his way to catch up with this person he'd consider his best friend, more than anything in the world.
"I love you, monkey!" he said,  nudging Tony's cheek.
"Aiya...don't call me that so loudly!"
"But...!"
"I said don't!" he halted until Woo Hyuk apologized.
"I'm sorry," he began sighing, "that you don't feel the name is as suitable as anyone else!" he finished.
"Aish...don't even talk to me," Tony put his hand in Woo Hyuk's face as he walked past him and continued to go out to eat.
"Okay, okay! I'm sorry, okay?! I really am!" Woo Hyuk called from behind, rather convincingly had it not been for the short guffaw that quickly followed.
"You're not very good at apologies, Woo Hyuk!"
"WELL, MAYBE YOU CAN TEACH ME!" he said louder than necessary, but that was due to the fact he really didn't know how loud he really was.
"Psh, hurry up if you want to do anything with me tonight," Tony teased with a smirk because he knew how hard it was for Woo Hyuk to resist such an invitation that could be interpretted however he wished.
Prancing with delight on his face, Woo Hyuk ran in front of Tony and stopped him, pulling him next to the building, staring at him in the eyes intently.
"Are you trying to suggest something?"
"Not really?"
"You're asking me?!"
"Well you're asking me!"
"Oh, right..." Woo Hyuk grabbed Tony's shoulders and pulled him closer. "Are you sure you're not gay?"
"I'm...pretty sure," he insisted, but there might've been some attraction that Tony had to Woo Hyuk, mainly because of the sensual way that he could dance, or the manliness of his voice when he sang or even his simplistic words? Tony couldn't specify only one reason why he would ever consider dating Woo Hyuk, but he can't honestly say the thought never crossed his mind.
Woo Hyuk inhaled the air that he was currently sharing with Tony, romantic, no? It would've been better if they didn't hear Jae Won begin to yell down the street.
"WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? I NEVER EVEN DATED HER!"
Tony leaned to look past Woo Hyuk to see what was going on, but he couldn't see Jae Won so he turned his head the other direction, only to continue being unable to find where Jae Won's voice was coming from, but he was certain he heard it.
When he turned back, his lips brushed against Woo Hyuk's and he felt as though his lungs had just detached themselves from the rest of his body and he could no longer breathe, he gasped for air as he pushed away.
"I'm sorry! I didn't mean for that to happen, I swear! When you turned around you got closer when you went to face me again and we...and that...no!"
"It's okay, Woo Hyuk, let's just...not mention this again, okay?" Tony spoke softly as he wiped his lips on the back of his hand.
Woo Hyuk nodded, "Right," but he didn't wipe off his lips, he licked them.
