Description An earlier design than Lavender Angel, Dance Angel led to her existence. I'll be working on making this one a wearable garment before the Lavender Angel as it addresses the a priori conditions for the latter. Still need a vacuum former for the body sections though so it'll take a while.

Colored pencil and ink on both sides of velum sheet, scanned with photo manipulation background and Vector Header.

interesting, though I don't think that I would make it out on my house in this one...but it is really cool!

So this is what this looks like on a body, huh? I'd need some encouragement, to go out in this, but I would probably have a blast.

I once read some posts of a model maker who used a vacuum cleaner attached to a wooden box that have many small holes drilled on top and a pre modeled shape made also from some material. If I remember right he maybe used wire model (the wire used for insect protections on vents may be useful).
He heat up a sheet of plastic in the normal kitchen oven, put over the box and the mold and switch on the v.cleaner.
I think i read about that in discussion group for the ZAON roleplaying game somewere in this thread [link] i think

Yeah, I've got some plans for making a vacuum forming table, just need to make time to get it built. Thanks for passing that info along though, it's defiantly the way to go.

so I wish you some success. For the dancing angle costume maybe a kind of big plastic 1/3 inch or under 1cm sheet can be used and heated up with a hairdryer like heating device. I once saw kind of that and if it get hot you can bend it easy but it dosen't melt only got kind of gum like... and harden again very fast.
...problem is I don't know what kind of plastic is that.

Thanks! There's actually a very good plastic supply store here in Seattle. I'm going to ask them what sort of clear plastics are suitable for vacuum forming. I've looked into the stuff that can be moulded at lower temperatures but I don't believe it's durable enough. When I get the outfit made I'll be sure to post details on it's construction.

ahh ok you thought about the clear parts I thought you mean the body armor like ones in white
for the clear part I thought you use PVC cloth (there colored opace and pure clear ones) one like used for cover a garden table maybe this is another option.
