Description Here's the pattern for our eight panel flat cap shown in our video tutorial.
Download the full size image and print at 300dpi to use.
The pattern makes a hat sized 7 1/4.
To change the size of the hat simply adjust the seam allowance.
For a .dxf version of this pattern go to the market on www.lastwear.com and download it there.

The video is great. Thank you very much.

I must have printed the template a dozen times now and there's no way those templates are the right size (yes, I've printed at 300dpi). Please ... any help would be appreciated.

Unfortunately www.lastwear.com/ no longer exists.

Thank you so much for this pattern. I found others, but they are complicated. I want to make one of these for my Littlfee Boy. I will measure it all first and make a paper one first. Better to waist paper than my fabric...thanks again

Help please. When I download the image it fits an 81/2 x 11 page. But I don't know how to change dpi to 300 to print the correct pattern size. Any help is appreciated.

Hi there.  Did you ever solve the printing problem?

I seem to be having trouble with the sizing in the printing

Might sound like a dumb question but what's the best material to use? Just got into making things.

Thank you for this, and the video! I'm very much looking forward to trying it out.
However, I've printed out the pattern, but it looks much too big to me. I wonder if I accidentally resized it. Is the lining piece supposed to be almost 11" diameter?

Ah I see. Where did you come up with the pattern for it? off your head or were you referencing something?

I should add to the comment I made with my other account (Addequate) that I am in the market for a flat cap.

Not to split hairs here but it seems what you've got there is a Newsboy Cap/Gatsby - [link]

The Flat Cap ( [link] ), which is my personal preference, tends to be slimmer/shorter.

Sorry for being a pedant!
