Pencils: Mars Lumograph (F, H, B, 2B, 4B,5B), Faber Castell 9000 (6B and 8B), Koh-I-Noor Progresso 8B, WH Smith Woodless 9B, mechanical pencils 0.2mm/2B, 0.3mm/2B, 0.5mm/4B and 0.7mm/HB with Ain Stein leads.
Blending: Blending stump from Boldmere and paper tissues.
Erasing: WH Smith kneadable eraser, Tombow Mono Zero Ultra-fine eraser, Jakar battery electric eraser.
Photo adjustment using GIMP: Removal of barrel distortion; Cropping to A4 ratio and removal of perspective distortion; Cropping unfinished edges of drawing; Adjustment of histogram.

This was quite a change for me. I mostly have drawn portraits of children with young, smooth skin. Gior's 88 year old skin with its many wrinkles was a real challenge, even greater than the fur of the animals that I have drawn recently. There is a lot wrong with my drawing, but I am reasonably satisfied with it.
