In nam we won by bodycount standard the only reason we pulled out is because the war was seen as unpopular with the American people not to mention that our economy was going shit. Also I'm pretty sure we've kicking so.e serious taliban and al-Qaeda ass since we got into that country.

The vietcong were really just freedom fighters who were fighting the corrupt governement of south vietnam , which was unfair and tried to avoid elections and losing to the communists which they know they would in a fair democratic event.
Then the united states,with all their bullshit righteousness comes in and protects "freedom" of being exploited by an abusive governement who likes to maskerade its crimes with claims of fairness and equality...

I always take pride in the fact that my armed forces do not represent me as a person.

This bit does convey the one honest similarity between the two wars. The usa has installed or supported completely corrupt governments that could not support itself and ended up in a war against the population.

Your country gets involved in two shitty little wars- and now we're the bad guys. That attitude pisses me off. If the USA wasn't around- the world would have either become completely Communist- and that is Stalinist Communism- STALIN- the vicious fucker who likked 10 million of his own people - worse than Hitler - and died peacefully in his own bed of old age- OR the Nazis would have won- and they were butchers of a different sort. Are you a non- aryan? Well your ass would have been exterminated by now- or enslaved if the Nazis ran things.
But getting away from politics for a moment. Don't you think at the very least that you owe a bit of thanks to the country that invented the electric light bulb, the automobile, television, the internet and gobs and gobs of things that are too many to mention.
I don't expect any thanks of course- because the attitude of non-Americans has always been ambivalent at best toward the USA.
And thats ridiculous. Do NOT cinfuse the peple of this country with our government. The Government is at the moment criminally insane- but there are good people here who do want the war to end- who never wanted it in the first place. People who would welcome anyone of you with open arms and give help anytime you need it.

Instead of having Nazis or Communist bastard killing innocent, we have the "heroic" USMC wasting civilians in Iraq, like you did in Vietnam, CIA mantaining terrorist in the '80, brutal dictatorships in Latinoamerica, and so on. But you called yourself "land of the freedom", where you decide which line of thining is god and which is not for the entire world, regarding your interest, of course.
And why do we own America about inventions and knowledge? You all worked together to create the light bulb, the automobile (because Karl Benz was American (???)), etc? c'mon, thats a child's argument.

Finally, you'r right, americans are not all bad, they are ignorant and dont give a shit about the outside world, as long as misery dont reach you, you can live with it, war, poverty, AIDS, etc.
I'm not trying to ofend anyone here (my 3rd world english do not help me, i'm argentinian). You must understand that the world is watching a sadistic fucker doing what he wants and the americans do nothing about it, undirectly aproving his metods. You must raise your voice, punish them where it hurts, hit the streets, like in the '60. Is your choise, meanwhile the worlds anti-americanism keeps growing, and more and more people thinks, as time goes by, that all americans are bad, 'cause you became the "bad guys" since the beggining of the cold war.
