Personality: Raiden is a man of few words, saving his breath for when it is genuinely needed. He cares deeply for the people of Jiyujin, but generally stays his distance; not because he doesn't want to be around them, rather, he is afraid of how they might receive him. He is incredibly loyal to the people of his young kingdom, willing to lay down his life for them without hesitation. He has a very narrow outlook on good and bad, not believing in a moral grey-area.

Backstory: Raiden was once the general serving under the Suicune warlord of Erythmessus. He was forced to watch the atrocities that the Suicune had forced upon the Southern Territory, even being forced to preform some himself. However, when he was left to his own devices, he risked his position and his life to help them in secret. After the Suicune's death, he used his military knowledge to lead a rebellion against the North of the Kingdom, eventually garnering their own lands (thanks to the Kami's treaty). Being the soul legendary in the Kingdom, leadership was thrust upon his reluctant shoulders. He was a military general, not a political leader. He went to Issu lake to contemplate his situation, which is where he found Kiyomi . There was no doubt in his mind that this was Suicune, reborn. Seeing that she was not malicious like her predecessor, Raiden took her in and offered to give her the position of Princess to the Kingdom, an offer she gladly accepted. Now, Raiden offers his advice to Kiyomi when she needs it most while also leading the Guard of Jiyujin.
