interesting composition. the arm and fingers create some nice leading lines to the face. i like the extremely shallow depth of field. it's a very smooth of photo for the most part and the areas where it does go grainy really adds to the photograph. the combination of all of that does come together to make a great image. to me it seems like one of those barren moments of hopelessness and despair where you want to scream out, but there's nothing left; as though everything has been stripped away leaving only that moribund consciousness within us all. all of that just kind of collides creating this massive weight of burden with a sense of hollowness.
