Description
Here is a walk-through of how I go about making comic pages. I use Gimp and an intuos 4. It takes me 8-15 hours for each page. The thing I like the most about this technique is that since the lineart is transparent, it leaves the art with a softer and more painterly feel, yet it takes a lot less time than drawing with no lineart at all.See the finished page: [link]

looks cool, but there is to much going on, with panels. it overwhelms you instead flowing. i think there is enough for a extra page to. the text suppose to compliment the comic. not distract. but this is old, so you probably improved and noticed it to. i am still learning the 'flow'

There is lineart, but it's on a layer set to Overlay which makes it slightly see-through. In the artist's description I was saying how this is a nice compromise between solid black lines and no lines.

Yep, it is a long process. The good part is that after it becomes a routine, it is a lot less complicated and time consuming than it seems.
