Great work. I liked the flying hair and the mailcoat (it seems very hard to do). At first I thougth she was Éowyn as princess of Ithilien. Anyway, I'm very intereted in her background if exist one. ; )

That is strange! It's in my names dictionary as it being a popular name during the 16th century and I chose it also because I think it looks quite Tolkien-esque rather than French. It's odd.

Just checked... guess what? You were 100% right! "A woman of the army. The feminine form of Armand." Armand is pretty famous, still used in some aristocratic families, but I had never heard Armynel before (I saw one website on which it was said to be a male name, but I don't think this one can be trusted (it gave a wrong translation of my name)).
