Started this two weeks ago (and almost forgot about it), as a "response" to *nekoni 's animation:

I'm not that good a flash animator... however, this entire piece is set up ready for animation... everything's on different layers and ready to go... but once I finished the flat coloring lol, I lost stamina. Same thing happened last time with it. I seriously need to snap back into fanart mode... I mean, I feel I'm getting a lot better, but I just dont have time or incentive to draw during my free non-schoolwork time anymore. As it is, I'm losing stamina with all my messages. I can't believe how many messages and watchers I get every day without me doing anything at all. Bad Laura for being lazy! *bonks self on head*

So yeah, this is totally (incorrect, but too lazy to make the coat its proper brown) flat colors. Made in layers in flash, though the sketch was from photoshop, and yes I did use some manga reference for the eyes (I'm terrible at remembering custom shapes). Texture was borrowed from [link]

We'll see if I ever do anything more with this to make it an animation, though I doubt it. I don't know Flash nearly well enough to be comfortable with the whole animate-each-layer with colors thing that has to go on. As I said, we'll see. Maybe if Nekoni pesters me enough.

I'm almost embarassed to post this. I usually dont post plain headshots... it would have given much more purpose to this drawing if it were animated. Otherwise, rofl, it really is quite a boring pic and Flash totally raped my personal stylistic drawing touch from the pic, so it looks traced and not even done by me. I think this is the first flash pic I've ever posted to DA because of the style-raping anomaly that happens in that program. Ah well ^^ ;;;
