"Kurapika? That reminds me of Pikachu!" - Random person who gets introduced to HxHGosh, even I thought of Pikachu when I first heard his name, it was so weird back then. Now it sounds kind of cute to me, so I guess it's a matter of getting used to it. :3
I wanted to do this little crossover pic since long ago, but it never looked the way I wanted.
One of my friends suggested me to do the other three protagonists with a Pokémon, but I'm not sure of which Pokémon would suit them (she thinks Umbreon would suit Killua, for example). Not sure if I'll do them anyway, though, I'm running out of time. 
This picture reminded me of how bad Kurapika is at playing videogames.

This. Is. EPIC!! it's like saying..well imagine if Kurapika and Pikachu both said
"KURAPIKACHU"
the same time. When first told me about HxH and told me Kurapika's name a year ago the first thing I thought was
'Kurapika? I wonder if he'll look like Pikachu?"

But I'll confess that I was confused as to whether Pikachu was a type of Pokemon or Pokemon was a type of Pikachu...

Well, I was referring to Kurapika's name, which reminded me (and many other people) of Pikachu and couldn't take the character seriously at the beginning of Hunter X Hunter. It sounds weird at the beginning, but you get used to it pretty quickly.

It's so cute! It does make sense that you would draw these two together because of the "pika" in their names. I'm starting to get a tooth ache from looking at this but that just means how much i love it~
