August 18 was a day of mystery, she peeked instead of bursting forth

Hey, thanks. I love windows (and doors). I love the idea of entering, of seeing. Glad you enjoyed. The math seemed a critical piece of this, a way to impart linearity to the subjective.

I'm liking the box at the top right with the question mark. "What's behind door number three?" Kudos.

I love that question mark! Question everything! Let nothing be sacred!

I am liking the watercolor flower there. It provides rest from the somewhat grittier texture of the rest of the collage. Haha, I remember that math.

This was an interesting compositon for me, especially the part about the blue shade. I do love an operable window!

Thanks, I love that flower, too. It was a piece of a pattern on scrapbooking paper, fancied up a little with some marker and dye inks. I love windows and doors....

Love the expression of the woman at the window, and the contrast between transparency and the opaque shutter.

Did you paint the flower on? It's really a lovely collage.

Did you had paint the flower?
I love the little figure peeking out from under the shutter.
Kind Merton peeking out the window of his suburban hermitage? Wink.
And the mathematical calculations are a neat addition, since life is always about calculating odds, considering risks, making choices, formulating possible scenarios, etc... at least mine is! Silly me.

I clipped the flower out of a big piece of paper, didn't paint it. There's a lot of glaze in the background of this piece, but that particular item is just plain paper. I enjoy the math calculations, too. It is all probability and speculation, percentages, and risk when you stick your head out of the window!

Well, in general I hate math stuff, but if it is about considering options, figuring things out, etc., in relation to figuring out my life (or helping others do this) then I like that sort of thing, though I do not really get that mathy about it... just very detail and discussion oriented. I do not think I would go so far as to create specifics... but I would design schedules, create lists and categories of things to consider, etc. And I do like to categorize things, groups of artworks, series, etc., in my work... I like to see and keep track of all I have created, give it titles, categories, put it in collections, piles etc... but no complicated calculations please... that is where I draw the line.. wink.
