Hehehe I love Thranduil so so much ! I think it's my favorite among all Tolkien's characters. I don't have much time for the moment but I think I'll try to work on a new draw of him during Christmas holidays

Non, franchement, les Elfes ne sont faits que pour être beaux et avoir la classe dans ce film quand même xD Mais j'aime vraiment bien
Bon après, les adaptations de Tolkien par Jackson sont toujours une superbe réussite! Même si le changement de caractère de Thorin est un peu trop brutal à mon goût.

he has the grace of a cat and I was laughing when he snarled out his threats to Thorin by leaning down to the Dwarf's level.
Oh, and he's a bit of a jerk. If you know Dwarf language, Thorin essentially tells him to "to to hell".

^^ To me, Thranduil is the funniest character in that movie. As you said, he has the grace of a cat while murmuring his threats what makes him a bit scaring. I just loved Thranduil's face and eyes when Thorin tells him he has no honor. That was just so good ! ^^

yeah, that makes him a dangerous guy, and the way he wields his blade is also awesome.
