"What on EARTH are you?!" The elderly scholar looked down at the white ball of fluff with its wriggling nose and beady red eyes.

The creature answered with thump of its front paws. Next to it lay a card.

"To Bibwit, Happy Birthday, here is someone we thought might actually listen to you for once."

Bibwit's nose twitched in a way not unlike the strange creature on his desk, who thoughtfully sniffed around his papers and books sprawled about.

"It was bad enough the jokes...the JOKES I had to contend with after Queen Alyss returned...and now YOU! And how could the Queen possibly think that I Bibwit Harte could have anything to say in any remote conversation with you! I daresay, I doubt you can even utter a noise, much less put words together."

He pointed accusingly at the creature, who just sniffed and smiled with another thump of his hind foot.

"I suppose..it could be worse..it's not like you're wearing a waistcoat or a....." Bibwit noticed a familiar glint of gold. His pocketwatch, a prized possession first awarded to him by Queen Issa, Alyss great..great...great grandmother strung carelessly around the white creature's neck.

"My...my...WATCH!?!"

Random muse, crappy sketch...why is it every animal I draw keeps looking like a cat? (except when I draw pigs...)

Heh..so umm yeah, sketch of the day theme was easter and/or bunnies...and...I had to mix homework in from this...but yeah, totally NOT a seen from the Looking Glass Wars Novel. *L*
