I was originally going to make a flash dress up game thing, but I seriously cannot figure it out and it was making me angry, to enjoy some clothing doodles staring my char, Masq. Information about character/outfits/etc to follow.

Masqana Aud'Laflint ("of the Laflint Region") is a soldier, and cousin ('cousin' is a vague term. Their language doesn't differentiate the degree of family relationship, so beyond immediate family, everyone you are related to by blood is your 'cousin'.) to the queen of Voria. Voria is a desert society with a strong set of cultural rules, and even stronger racism toward the other nations. In an alleged effort to broker peace, the Queen has arranged a marriage of herself and the elderly king of their ancient enemy nation, Jenovo.

Naturally, the queen has a different scheme in play. Her true goal in marrying the Jenovo king is to set herself in a possition to inherrit his kingdom, having his son and sole heir killed by an assassin. She arranged to have some of her trusted advisers accompany her, and the king agreed, not wanting his future bride to be alone in a foreign culture.

She brought her cousin Masq, over which she has power - Masqana is mixed race, which is very frowned upon in Vorian culture and would have severly effected her ability to make a life for herself. However, the queen vouched for her 'purity' and made it explicitly clear that any doubts or insults would be taken as personal insult to the queen, and would be punished as such. Using this as influence, she had Masq assassinate the prince.

She also brought Sir Nigel Bloodcan, a literal giant (of a race of giants), and a brilliant master alchemist, but that's a different picture.

Casual: The most basic outfit you can wear in Vorian culture. While you might wear this while having family and close friends over at your home, it would be inappropriate to wear in public. This is where C2 comes in, with the addition of a vest type garment, which suddenly makes the outfit appropriate for public. C3 adds a shawl/jacket type garment, adding another level of formality, and making it appropriate for attending public events etc.

Travel: Where the casual above is more of a city outfit, the travel outfit is meant for the wilds of the desert. The sleeves/collar are buttoned to keep out the sand, and everything is covered from the sun.

Winter: Poor baby! She's completely not prepared for the Jenovo winter when she gets there, and has to borrow sweaters and scarves from other soldiers, and basically ends up with warmer clothing that is in disrepair, but useable.

Dress-up: One of the queen's favourite games is to put her dresses on her cousin for special events, specifically because she knows it makes her uncomfortable. (she would much rather just be dressed as a soldier)

North: Later in the story, after the queen's nefarious plan is found out (she has been playing everyone against everyone, basically), the main peeps flee to a technologically advanced northern nation ruled by another of the queen's 'cousins' to beg for his help. They are given clean clothes!

Battle: My favourite, her battle outfit, proudly wearing the colours of Voria (maroon/red) and the boar from their national crest! While not known for her power, she is quite agile, and a strong tactician.

Genie: For laughs.
