I have finally finished my entry for the contest! The theme is to draw something to a Christian song. (We where given a list of possible songs.)
I decided on "Million Pieces" by Newsboys.

Concept: The raindrops represent the cares of this world. I picked four common worries in today's world. Here's what each one means;

Heart: This represents love, which can be a very good thing, in the right place. Though, sometimes it can be an unnecessary burden. (Usually only in the case of a needless boyfriend/girlfriend. I'm not talking about your family here. )

Dollar sign: As you can probably guess, this represents money. Again, money is good, in it's place. Though it can often consume us and make us spend our days worried about it and how we can get more.

Shirt: Represents clothes, fashion, maybe even social standings. Clothes may be a necessity, but don't let having the most stylish boots become too important to you!

Carrot and tape measure: The ridiculous way I decided to represent body image. Eating healthy is always a good idea, but over-obsessing can lead to health problems and poor self confidence.

To sum it up, we need most of these things, in some way. Though, we need to trust God on what we NEED and not focus on what we WANT!

"Therefor I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet you heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?" ~ Matthew 6: 25 - 27. NKJV.
