Princess Lunessa, at all of sixteen, was tenacious! So much so that her father the King worried that should would be too easily lost on some madcap adventure, some lark that she had, deciding that some thing must be seen or done. Many times he would wake early in the morning to be told that she had already gone out on one of her adventures. It worried him so!

The princess on the other hand, couldn't be more different. The idea of travelling to new places, seeing the things that she'd never witnessed before, was what kept her going on these insane trips! She would rise before the sun and find Captain Alsoy. With a group of his best men, they would seek out adventure around the kingdom. From mystic secrets and ancient mysteries to dangerous challenges long forgotten, all of them locked away in the forgotten corners of the realm, Lunessa and Alsoy sought them and pulled each of them into the light of truth.

By now, not a single thing made the girl nervous, or gave her pause... save for one. The one mystery she had never faced with sword or fledgeling magic was love. It was this trhought that kept Lunessa home one morning, allowing her father to find her on the balcony of the South Tower. She was leaning on the stone rail and looking out at the realm that would one day be hers in its entirety.

As the King approached, he smiled, happy to find her here today. To greet her, he spoke her name softly. His powerful, rich voice brought down to a warm, kind whisper. The princes turned and grinned. "Hello, father! Good morning!"

Remember when I took a shot at drawing some Disney styled princesses and scenes a long time ago? It was back when I was really trying to push my art style to where it is now. Well, I decided to take the idea of a kinda gothy Disney princess and run with it. Isn't she happy looking?
