Well this is seriously wonderful! The piece that actually got me started in your gallery!
I really like the whole concept and everything, and not many of those 3D models that I see a lot (I never know what to call them) look as. . . Painted as this one. That's a good thing! It makes it look more, I don't know, but it looks absolutely fantastic.
The hands are brilliant as well, I love that!
The balloons are a little. . . Well, I'm. . . Not exactly quite sure what it's doing there but I think it does good in adding a spark of color as well as possibly she's. . . A toy? I don't know, I'm sorry. But it's nice.
Basically, I love everything except that one random arm hand on the right. . . It sort of takes the eye over there and just doesn't have much. . . Alright, it's just. . . There. A little distracting. Anyways, good job and sorry for the terribad critique ^^'

this really drew my eye away from the other pics that I saw on the site i think mainly for the balloon but everything else kept me focused on this pic

I am thrilled at this piece. What's so amazing is that you used MMD to make such a painterly composition. Lots of people would kill for the post data you used on the hands, which you molded very skillfully. I do think that the hands in the upper right and left corners command too much attention and are somewhat distracting. But Miku is still the focal point of this artwork, and she looks great! The only other nitpicky thing I have to say is that her elbows look distorted to me, but I know there's only so much control you have over that. I love how some hands appear solid and some look like shadows, and the layering of them creates a sense of depth, with three universes blending together: the hands, the shadows and Miku. Great job and great vision. I think this is superb.

This is going to end up adding onto the "praise parade" already going on here, but I feel like there's a lot to be said about this piece.
The PV that you reference, Ranbara, is already a very simplistic PV, so in one work it would be typically hard to capture the same kind of mood. However, you really do it well here, despite all of the movement in this piece. A lot of it has to to, obviously, with how well you work with the colors - I thought this was a 2D piece upon first glance! The way the colors are set helps a lot with the mood.
The main thing that's throwing me off is that one hand on the upper-right - it's throwing off my visual balance since it's just kind of sticking out there. Maybe it's just me though.
On the other hand, the balloon does a great job in centering the piece with Miku.

Sorry, but there is a reason there is a regular comment function AND a critique function. If I were you I would've just submitted this as a comment. We understand your obvious enthusiasm and excitement for the piece, but I suggest next time you pay attention to punctuation and wording before writing a proper critique. For me, this is a more serious advice the artist asks for than just a simple comment, and no offense, but this kind of writing would mean nothing to me.

wow, just, just wow. never before has ranbara ( in a rainy town balloons dance with devils,) been so scary. first of all i have to talk about the miku model, im loving the outfit as it wasn't present in the previous video, but that just adds to the tragedy aspect that is about to befall on miku, the white signifies that shes pure and the little bow just adds to the innocence of the girl, but then her face OH GOD her face shows that shes hollow on the inside because she cant stop whats going to happen ( or what will happen to her) and the hands reaching for her.... well we all know where this is going folks, all in all i thinks its a wonderful work of art, an eerie painting that manages to be captivating all at the same time, truly a great step up from the original video ( and if the author of this can animate, then i suggest you get to making your own version of the song)

I think this piece has a really morbid feeling to it...it's eerie, just like the actual song itself. I'm not good at drawing or the like - I'm not particularly artistic - but I know enough to know that this is a wonderful piece of work, especially if using a computer to create this kind of effect. I love the depth that this has created - the picture looks like it can come to life at any moment and scare everyone in the room to death. You've captured the essence of the song really, really well in this picture, and I can only say that this is really well done.
Also, I was wondering, could I possibly use this picture as a cover art for one of my stories, on Fanfiction.net? I have a story that's based exactly on this song, and I love this picture...I'm hoping that you'll allow me to use the picture, but it's okay if you don't want to. Thank you!
