An older pict I had done that everyone seems to love. This is legolas (from the books) on the orc trail when the "hunting party" found pippin's elven brooch. i drew this a few months before two towers came out. It goes along with the quote I still wish they had put in the film cus it ment so much to me:"Come! Let us go on! The thought of those merry young folk driven like cattle burns my heart." -legolas pg.32 Two Towers by J.R.R.Tolkien
call me stupid but everytime I read that quote I get all misty in the eyes.

i love the style you used to draw Legolas here. it's a nice change from the many, many Legolas pics based entirely on the LOTR movies. and you still made him look pretty hot. ^o^
(and they really should've left that line in the movie. there were a lot of things that should've been left in

Respect for you!! I really admire people who use their imaginations on LotR characters in their artwork. I mean, we all had our own idea of what the characters would look like before the movies came out right? (Although I have to say that Peter got the movie Legolas spot on for me!! Ring-a-ding-ding!!)
I love the fancy elvish engravings on his wrist gards and he looks very sexy with a fringe...eh...what do you American's call them...bangs? Anyway,
