"So we're not going to ruin the surprise, all right? We can all go together to tell the tribe I'm back. Trust me, it'll be great! Much less bloody and horrifying than what you all have in your minds. More ... feasting and rainbows! Hang on, where did that come from? Ah, I know." Darkstalker turned toward the landing area that led to the main school entrance. Clay and Sunny stood there, both of them breathing heavily, as though they'd been running."Feasting," Darkstalker said, pointing at Clay. "And rainbows." He pointed at Sunny and grinned.
Decided to play with some brush settings on this one. A bit different from the usual lines. Hard on the eyes, but I like the results.
I probably spent way too much time shading a cartoon piece of meat.

Thank you! And, duly noted about the wrists. The interpretation of nightwings(and some of the other more robust wof dragons) was a bit clunky to replicate in my own way. I honestly don't know if they have wrists to begin with(they are more lovingly referred to as "ham legs"). While I love the artwork of all the dragons, it makes me crazy when figuring out how to draw their anatomy. For example, I was taught not to attach wings directly to shoulder bones. xD Their wings are also, apparently, impossibly uncomfortable with that one spine growing from the "elbow" joint of their wings.

Your colors look really great for this! I love how you drew his hand with the rainbow coming out, that kind of perspective/angle on a hand is difficult to draw. Nice work

Thank you! It only took about 20 different sketches for me to figure out the best way to draw the angle of his claw/hand. xD In the original sketch he had both arms up, but his right looked like the elbow was broken, ouch.
