Jökulsárlón is a glacial lagoon, bordering Vatnajökull National Park in southeastern Iceland. Its still, blue waters are dotted with icebergs from the surrounding Breiðamerkurjökull Glacier, part of larger Vatnajökull Glacier. The Glacier Lagoon flows through a short waterway into the Atlantic Ocean, leaving chunks of ice on a black sand beach. In winter, the fish-filled lagoon hosts hundreds of seals.Related content

going to Reykjavik on the 20th I have a friend that lives there... It's my first trip to Iceland my main objective for this trip is to shoot the northern lights by the plane wreck. My Icelandic friend is going to show me around with filming in mind.... I get a feeling it will be my playground for a few years ha...

I dealt with a company who just sort out your logistics.
I told them I wanted to fly to the east then I told them when I had to be back at Keflavik. I needed eight nights of hotels spread out across that east to west journey. They booked the hotels and sorted out the car. All I had to do was be at the correct hotel each night. The rest was up to me.
