Description
This is the Jacobite steam train from Fort William to Mallaig through some of the most beautiful scenery in the Scottish Highlands. It is one of the best train journeys in the world and if you are ever here I highly recommend this journey. Here it is pulling up away from Glenfinnan and passing the now disused Church of the Braes. The train is being pulled on this occasion by ‘Black 5’ No 45407, ‘The Lancashire Fusilier’.You will also recognise this train from the Harry Potter films as it is featured crossing the Glenfinnan Viaduct.

This is taken from a small road that runs up a hill beside the track. Very Licky to have it there. It means I don't have to climb for once

a couple of months of doing nothing but work is not so good for me
im just beginning to get back in the game now

Yeah. Somehow I got pneumonia at the beginning of January. No idea how. It was very unpleasant though. Took about ten or twelve weeks to get rid of it. Much better now though

Yes I was waiting for the train to appear. I had a rough idea of the time it would be coming through. It only comes through in this direction twice a day from May to October.
I have been been on this train from Fort William to Mallaig and back. It is the best train journey in the world through the most stunning scenery.
