Finally I'm done with the Straitjacket for my Leslie cosplay for the LBM 2015. It was not to complicate to sew a normal hoody to this simple straitjacket but I'm still very proud at this project because Leslie will be my first cosplay without help from family and friends.
To let the fabric artificially age with textile colours was a lot fun but also a lot work. It took a lot time but I still like the result.

Oh, thank you for the request. I actually would like to do some commissions but...not in the moment. Right now I have to deal with some personal problems, studding and working. I will need a few months (maybe a half year) to deal with all this. If I found the time for commissions I will send you a message and if you are still interested we can talk about it. You should do a tutorial on how to make this! You see, I really want to cosplay Leslie Withers so I've been trying to find good straight jackets online but they're waaaayyyyyy too expensive. So I've decided to make my own straight jacket and your straight jacket is absolutely spot on for Leslie! It would be so totally amazing if you uploaded a tutorial ^^

o.k. Sorry for this late answer. I try to explain the process of the straitjacket as best as I can in English.
It's actually pretty easy to sew the jacked (I'm a total noob in sewing). All you need is a white pullover and a white jogging pants. I ordered my on amazon. You need also thick white cotton ribbon and a lot textile colour. You have to remove the hood and the pocked from the pullover. Than you cut open the pullover on the bag like a reverse jacket. You stitch up (German: Versäubern/Umschlagen?) the opening on the back so it looks fine. You measure the collar of the pullover to create this little stand-up-collar of the jacked. For this you can use the fabric from the hood. The buckles for the cotton ribbon on the back are also made from the remaining fabric.
Actually it's very easy to sew the jacked but you will need a lot more time for the weathering. I painted the clothes in different steps. If you want a nice look of the weathering you should spent a lot time in the paintjob.
