An autumn leaf
Floats slow to the ground
It's tumble, slow yet brief
Falls with narry a sound

Looking up from whence it came
To the tree it's friends still cling
In Time they shall fall just the same
And they shall taste Deaths bitter sting
Gust of Wind or Forfeit in Time
No one will hold on Forever
Regardless of Innocence or Crime

But I will not let loose that easily
Without a sound I will not go!
To the end I will fight ferociously
No matter how hard that Wind may blow

And when it comes that I shall fail
A tumble, slow and brief I will take
To the others I shall tell my Tale
On touchdown the Earth will quake

Though in death I now decay
Many Dreams I reap and more in sow
These my Seeds that I relay
In hopes a new Tree will grow
