Description
2. The weather is warm, and for the time being, life is peaceful. Your tokota must be depicted embracing life and stopping to ‘smell the roses,’ so to speak; an exercise in being aware of what is around them, whether it be something as simple as enjoying the scenery or watching a bird’s egg hatch. They do not need only to be wise and gentle, but grateful and respectful of the natural world.

Hope you like it! Finally an RoD for my kid, this took so long I literally tried to do the background 4 times and failed, it needed to be just right <3 Even with this one, I re-painted everything (using the same colours) to make it look painty!
Anyways, this is something Polaris would do xD He's running around on Aippaq's Mirror!
The sun sank lower in the sky, painting the light blue sky colors full of wonder and beauty. Pinks, oranges and reds blended together and slowly transitioned into a dark purple and eventually a deep, dark blue, speckled with glowing stars, white and light blue.
The ice upon which Polaris sat was cold and slippery. The small tundra tokota had had enough memories from his pup hood, memories of his tiny paws sliding and skidding across the frozen water. Kisah would just stand on the snow, and whenever Polaris would squeak as he fell, his beloved handler would roll over on the ground, laughter filling the air. The pup would usually huff at her, not understanding why should be laughing. He just fell! He could've been hurt! But now, as Polaris sat and thought of his first moments on the ice, he wished he could go back to being a pup, skating and sliding around, with Kisah next to him. Oh how he wished she could be with him, but a mysterious sickness had overcome her, causing her to stay at home where she could be cared for. Polaris decided to let her rest, and trotted off to the giant ice plains known as Aippaq’s Mirror. He needed some time to think and reflect upon, well… life in general.
As he glanced to the sky, he wished with all his heart for the magical spirit Aippaq to somehow bring his precious caretaker to him, so they could do what they did when they were both young. Sit and watch the beauty of the setting sun as it reflected perfectly on the ice spread out before them.
He stayed for a few more minutes, and with a sigh, turned to leave and trot back towards his home.
Suddenly, a flash of white fur whisked into his view, and then out as quick as it came. The small tundra tokota blinked, confused but curious as to what he just saw, and quickly turned in the direction the creature had ran. There, standing not far off, was a tall white deer with magnificent antlers displayed on its head, shining in the setting of the sun. It's eyes glowed bright blue, seeming almost like pools full of wisdom and gentleness. It stood on a section of the ice where the sun was reflected, so it appeared as if the deer was walking on the sun itself. Polaris stared after it in awe, dazed almost. With a blink of his eyes, the small tundra tokota saw the deer turn and prance away, though it kept turning its head back to him, as if beckoning him to follow. I should really get home to- Polaris’s thoughts were cut off as the deer nodded, as if in understanding, and jumped into the sky. He stared after it, in a daze yet again, as it ran. He watched it until it was out of sight, and eventually sat down, still to shocked to move.
What even was that?! asked his mind. Polaris had no answer for himself. But, whatever it was it was gone. With a shake of his head, he rose, walking steadily back in the direction of his home. Kisah needed him.
