ALIAS: Mesmer Prime

POWERS:
No natural powers, but is skilled at hypnosis and various methods of induction, NLP, and gaining control of a person's psyche via manipulation and psychological warfare. Normally he uses tech and gadgetry to initially take control of unsuspecting victims if time is of the essence or if there is a need for mass control. Once back at his lair, hypnotized and under his control, his slaves' chance of breaking free are slim to none as he has perfected his abilities over time.

BIO:
Forever introverted, but always accepted, he never fully felt as such. Was a member of a suicide prevention centre, but lost his love at the hands of a suicide bomber who was later revealed to be a client of his who he couldn't help. Devastated and distraught over the loss, he couldn't deal with it and something snapped. He decided HE needed to be in control, and not leave things to chance. Since his catastrophe, he has fallen in love with Shimmer, one of the superheroines in the vicinity. She had been his slave once before until he was thwarted by the Nightshade Twins when they caught him and freed her of his control. He has vowed to make her his once more and never let her go.

Weaponry:
Cerebral Inhibitor Cards (CICs). A small playing card-styled device that when placed behind the victim's ear disrupts their higher brain functions and quickly subdues the mind, making them totally mindless and obedient. Once the card has done it's job, the victim is unable to talk or show emotion, making them effectively an empty sleepwalker. Once out of the "protection zone", the CICs can be remotely dissolved, leaving the victims with no memory of what happened. The CICs do have limitations however as they only have the capacity to give take control for 3 hrs before they dissolve on their own.

Voice Of God. A small, multi-setting microphone clipped to the collar of his shirt that has a normal setting that, when enabled, people find it harder and harder to think but aren't aware it's his voice doing it. The other setting emits a high pitched tone that completely disorients the people within ear shot. The on and off switch is sewn into the top of his glove.

CyaMIND. A pellet-contained gas that makes people more suggestible. It can also induce hallucinations if he tells the people affected by the gas what they are seeing.

Dominate and Rule. Twin energy pistols that both have two settings: "stun" and "knockout". Stun is to put the blastee into a mindless, zombie-like trance but one where they will not accept any orders, just stay mindless and dazed in their place. Knockout is to do just that, put the victim into an instant hypnotic sleep where the body literally collapses. The effects of each lasts for 2 hours. He engineered them to only stun and disable as he is not a killer, only warped in mind.

Chronos. A pocketwatch which creates a personal shield via the use of "Continuum Shift". The "Continuum Shift" function of Chronos creates a small field of energy around him that distorts time. When anything enters the field it is slowed down so it looks to him that it is going very slow so it can be blocked or dodged while to anyone else it appears to be moving normally.
