Description
The relationship between a Master and slave is often a misunderstood one. The trust and respect between the two goes so deep that most people cannot even begin to comprehend, resulting in a bond that pushes the boundaries of comradeship, friendship, and loyalty. There is the understanding however, that in some cases, disobedience will be met with appropriate punishment, hopefully coupled with an open communication on the part of BOTH Master and slave. Without an open dialogue between the two, and knowing what the other's wants, values, and limits are, the relationship between the slave and their Master is doomed to be a failure. It is one which will have anguish and anger, as is the case in any other partnership. Just as much as a deep, and romantic love between any type of coupling, the relationship between a Master and slave requires love, understanding, dedication, caring, and kinship. This is the truest example of yin and yang there is... without one that fits perfectly, the other cannot exist to it's fullest potential. It is truly the embodiment of the symbiotic relationship.
