This picture would've been finished sooner if I hadn't spent the first six or so hours working on it not knowing what the heck I was doing. I had no real vision of what I wanted it to look like, so for a long time I just fiddled with different brushes and effects before I lost patience.

There are many wonderful Fighting-types out there. Primeape, Heracross, Hawlucha, Conkeldurr, Pangoro, Throh... Very few, however, have the distinction of being a kung fu monkey that's constantly on fire. I guess it's Infernape's concept that appeals to me the most.

Happy to see Cinder again? He's still pretty much the same as he was before: An energetic joker who is quite skilled in battle, but the constant target of rotten luck, blatant disrespect, and amusing injuries everywhere else.

He'd probably be the main character of my Pokemon comic... IF I HAD ONE.
