Description A while ago I was hanging out/drawing with and after looking through an art book of anime girls wearing headphones we decided to draw our own.

I'd been wanting to draw a girl in this pose for a while and I thought that dancing to headphone beats was a good excuse for it. Also I'd been wanting to draw fan art of Palutena for a while. But why she’s wearing Headphones I don’t know, haha. Oh well, it's the Goddess of Light enjoying her music. Wonder what she listens too...

Actually, PK ROCKIN is a move from the character named Ness in the game. And his game is on the SNES (that was where his name came from. originally, it was planned for the NES) I haven't tried it but I had seen a walkthrough for the sequel MOTHER 3

I love that you're always drawing interesting, dynamic poses. I need to force myself to do that moreβ€”it's so intimidating! I'm pretty impressed with her arms, especially the one that's going back into space. The shading is looking really good tooβ€”I especially like the hair highlights!

Dynamicity is fun!! You SHOULD do it more! I should do it more! Like I said in the description I had this particular pose in mind for a while. she's supposed to be kind of shifting weight from one foot to the next while also spinning her body and snapping her hips all at once in a crazy attractive dance move, haha. When I draw some pose I always stand up and try to do them myself just to help myself draw them. Sort of like how sometimes when I'm drawing someone with an angry face I realize I'm scrunching my eyebrows, haha.

That's a good idea, I should remember to do that more often. I tend to do hand poses when I'm drawing them, but not full body ones as much.

Haha! I do that eyebrow scrunching too. Or, actually, I guess I just smile... because usually my people are smiling.

As I said with the draft you showed me, this looks so great. This sounds weird but I REALLY LIKE HER BELOW THE WAIST. I mean it looks good everywhere, but I feel like you especially did well on her lower half. The dangly things around her belt look really three-dimensional.

I agree with Val! Especially on the thigh that is seen through the split in the dress.

As I have been realizing, knowing how to shade objects in relationship to other objects is really important for bringing out the full form of each object.
