Contract?It's time to become that weapon-toting magical girl Homura!
The shirt and skirt are both made from cotton with satin ribbon accents and velcro closures on the back. The sleeves and collar are layered and the black undershirt is sewn down for easier dressing.
The stockings are knit with hard lightweight clay soles and acrylic painted diamonds.
I tried a lot of new techniques for this outfit, particularly painting on tights and making stocking-boots. I couldn't see a distinction between the shoes and tights in the art or reference works, so I went right for the closest I could get. Stocking boots. I tried a new technique with sewing the soles on, so no more seeing the footpads! (this actually cuts the time to sew on soles by about a half!)
The entire thing is a custom pattern of about 20 pieces.
