I really like the idea and the composition and although i don't like brown as a color for drawing, here it fits very well and soft.
Is there any symbolism in this piece?

I'm sure everyone can put his own symbolism into this piece. I wasn't thinking much when I was drawing this picture, but in the end I know exactly what it shows adn it's nothing general. Very personnal.
Two people with the same interests, purpose and goal, maybe not always agreeing when it comes to the small steps but after all flying to the same place. They have no choice in fact, for the goal becomes so important to them and they want it so much, that they can't really stop, even if theres no closer, smaller goals along the way, and it seems to be hopeless.
The abandoned and ruined castle on the rock means that they leave the everyday things (like comfort, home, family) behind, and don't really care about them. It causes those things to wither and crumble away.
