What do you do between steps five and six to define your edges without it being a solid outline? I have a lot of trouble with this. ^.^

After step five, I merge all my layers together, except the background. Then I press CMD + left click on my mouse on the layer, so only what I have on my layer will be selected. Like this, you will be able to draw without exceeding :3 I hope it helps
