This is so bizarre, yet also so oddly suave?

He's stylish with that fancy shirt and high boots. I imagine he could pick lots of different pumpkin shapes for any head he fancies. I like the diagonal rectangular design behind him, it adds a kind of jaunty yet almost other dimensional feel, like it could be slowly rotating

he is indeed! he might even not settle with just pumpkins, he might divulge himself some other fruits or objects, to spice things up a little.
thank you! I tried to do something beside a simple black square as usual.

Why not? These are Modern times and all! Also I expect the pumpkin head to rot after a while so he'd need to have many or just a plastic one.

And be the envy of all his supernatural peers with that LED light action synchronised with the party music.

Or he could make an appointment at the Face Carver's surgery and pick out a nice flesh face... Discounted as he's celebrity. (refer a friend and get 20% off of all tummy tuck or buttock lift procedures in the next 12 months!)

that's not a bad idea! he'd be the life of the party really.

depends. 20% off what, exactly? is the price money, or something else?

but literally it should be "how to be an obnoxious person"

oh yes, those too. I'm picturing him scooting on a toy car that toddlers have *pushes with feet*

It kind of made me really ashamed to have been a kid in the 90s, we did not all think that kind of stupid stuff was cool (the straw, I just can't even explain that lol - or how grown adults could consent to being in that video at all)

Lol, and in his imagination it's a convertible cruising down Hollywood boulevard

there's nothing to be ashamed of, there will always be out of touch adults trying to make media for kids. "how do we help kids to make friends and not be socially awkward?"
"how about a video that has really obnoxious "tricks" they can do to make other kids hate them and never invite them to anything?"
"Brilliant!"

hey it was a gig, they were paid. you don't ask questions.
have you heard of Inside no. 9 cause i've heard loads about it recently and I really want to watch it.

*scoot scoot*

True. It was extremely cringe worthy. I wonder if anyone actually bought that and tried any of those things!

Lol that sounds shady.
Um I don't think so, what's it about? I've been watching 'the Bridge' (a crime series centred around the Mexico-America bridge), and 'perpetual grace Ltd' (this is so weird but also great)

Peep peep

who knows! I am a little curious about it. maybe it was one of those things that aired in between programs, not commercials exactly, but you know.

a bit!
it's an anthology of episodes that are all psychologically scary, like the twilight zone. all of them are centered around the number nine in a way, like the episode will take place in a room that has the number nine on the door or something.

That's pretty clever, but yes I mean people should have guessed it. Also none of the presenters on the BBC sound like that between shows when they have technical issues, that was the only poor part of the entire plan, they should have given the actual presenter the script and not an actress

I thought it was from this year, I had no idea it was from last year. How come I never saw it?

Lear-is-not-amused In reply to Sleyf [2019-11-18 06:17:08 +0000 UTC]

I think that's what makes it great is that some people didn't stay tuned, or didn't guess it. it added to the specialness of it.

oh they don't? what do they sound like?

I dunno lol why weren't you there to watch it that very night eh? where were you?

Sleyf In reply to Lear-is-not-amused [2019-11-18 06:47:43 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, but I'm. Kind of know they're planning something when they make a big deal about it lol.

The way she was talking was not natural. The people who say 'next up will be so and so' are normal people (I mean, not trained in acting or anything, they're basically just normal people who probably work technical or something) so they speak unscripted, it's casual, that woman sounds too controlled you know?

That's the thing, I was there at around the same time (not exactly but the advertise shows which are coming soon) but saw absolutely nothing about it anywhere, and we only have the freeview channels which include BBC 1 and 2 so why didn't I see any adds! That's why I thought it came out this year.

I think her being an actress may have been to clue the audience in that it was staged. but you're quite right about that. she wasn't deadpan and phlegmy enough

I don't know! maybe it didn't reach your location??? or something???

lol my dad and I make fun of the pioneer woman all the time, I even talked about making a ARG or something about a woman trying to kill her family with butter and sugar kind of like she's doing.

It's so weird, I just learned yesterday that my dad can't stand the woman lol. My mum was telling me how he likes to constantly watch the food network channel, but when she comes on he's like 'yuck change the channel it's that woman!'
She's kind of like a ventriloquist doll. Also she's always cooking for like, dozens of people. I get that she owns a ranch and has to feed the hands (because we're still living in frontier times) but when is she ever only making small portions?

Lol oh don't worry I think Paula Dean beat her to that achievement already, it could be a fighter style game where you pit the Two against one another mixing up a heart attack in a bowl

Lear-is-not-amused In reply to Sleyf [2019-11-22 04:23:46 +0000 UTC]

well in our families case, my mom is a pioneer woman fangirl, like, we have relatives always sending her pioneer woman mugs or cook books, and when we visit my gramma she's always like "you guys want to watch pioneer woman????" *grabs the remotes to turn on the cooking channel.
so, my dad and I make fun of my mom because we love each other through open mockery.
in my case though I think she's the epitome of priveledged white woman. shes successful of course, so good on her, and cooking's a great skill to have, but she's also essentially trapped on that ranch, forced into a continous loop of cooking and serving for others despite her own success...

oh yeah I forgot about that lol. Paula dean is equally terrifying.

Don't forget Ina Garten and her pretentious dinner parties in the Hamptons.

Martha could take them all (even though her recipes are crap and don't work that great) - she's Martha Stewart!

Oh, she's got a show called 'The barefoot contessa' and she's constantly throwing parties for her many gay friends while Jeffry her husband is away working lol.

Yes she was lol, but who cares, she's Martha, we forgive her. Even if she went to an entitled prison and did crafting and stuff. What I do hate about her though is the way she talks over her guests, it's so annoying, like 'yes we know you're Martha Stewart, but I want to hear what this person is saying'

I haven't ever watched her either, and I'm not even really sure what she looks like.

I’m not a fan of cooking shows to be fair, I only know them from having to watch what everyone else is watching. She’s a pretentious snob who was rude to a poor terminally ill kid, so basically an entitled cow.

I’m not a fan. It was ok in the first few seasons when Mary Berry was judging, but now it’s stupid. The judges are unnecessarily condescending and picky, and it’s so obvious when they have favourites or just straight up hate someone. It’s so noticeable that people online have even remarked on it. I also hate Paul Hollywood, he’s a jerk with his head shoved far up his own ass. They have the same show for Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. The Irish one was the best, though they stopped making it. The tasks they had to do were interestingly different and the judges were fair.

I believe so!
Well I personally attribute her youthful looks to the fact that she’s freely doing all she wants for herself without the stress of a husband sucking the life from her
