I did it a very easy way, I took one photo of London, went into photoshop went to image, image size then unchecked constrain proportions, then ,made the height the same as the width, so you get a squished square image,then turned the photo 180 degrees, then you go to filter, polar coordinates, make sure you tick rectangular to polar, and after that you will have a round world like image, but you will have to edit out the join with the cloan tool.
