Many oceanic predators (dolphins, sharks, seabirds, tuna) sometimes work together, but in a loose way, a bit more free-for-all...kinda similar

Cool drawings~

Thanks.
Yes, I've seen quite many documentaries about it, I think there's even a picture movie released in theaters that focused mainly on this phenomemon. They don't really cooperate together but it's still pretty impressive, especially how deep the seabirds dive underwater, also some species I didn't know dive much at all (petrels, shearwaters).

No prob

Yeah, that surprised me too! I always thought shearwaters kinda just scooped stuff up from the surface..

Me too. I read that giant petrels too do dive underwater, that must be some impressive sight although kinda awkward lol.

Amongst other true but funny things I've read, egret and small heron species also catch fishes by diving from the sky, osprey style!

Oh I wasn't talking about snatching fish whislt hovering on the wing, I've seen that too. I meant something like this: link
Funny but not really dainty imo.

Well you know, like how super heroes fly in comics, like they are suspended by an invisible thread. ^^

Inter-species cooperation, how fascinating! I wonder if there's any occurrence of that in real life? (Other than humans making animals work for them of course)

I don't know of any case of inter-species cooperation per se (i.e targeting one common prey) but mixed-species hunting party are well known in birds, especially involving various solitary insectivorous species that flock together to flush preys in trees and bushes. Wiki article about it [link] :]
