They may as well be. I mean, at this point in time, reconstructions of most maniraptor real species are highly speculative regarding colours, soft parts, ornemental features etc. "imaginary" is just my way of stating it. ^^

I know what you mean. It's a good way to make what you want, not having to match any known species That's why I mostly draw fantasy creatures, even when I try to make them realistic
