Last time I looked at this, there wasn't a picture on the profile.

You're welcome.

Heebie-Jeebie sounds like a really cool ghoul, do you think her and my OC Robyn Skellington could be friends. They would totally rule Halloween Town with killer style together

I don't see why not! Heebie is always looking for folks of Halloween Town to shred and con with, rocking the casinos and underground concerts with their undead fashion. I just need an icon for her to put on Heebie's bio and we're all set!

But of course! Heebie is always looking for good allies in the conning biz. I read her bio and I can't wait to see her outfit~ I really like her and I'll add her to her friends, I'm also up to RPing.

I know Cleo was your first choice for something that bugs Heebie, but frankly I like you using Draculaura better, since she is often viewed as a sweetheart in the fandom, despite the fact that episodes like "Why do Ghouls fall in love" have shown her to seemingly weigh how much her friends and boyfriend (who seem to be less wealthy than her, except for Cleo) care about her by how much they spend on a gift or how extravagant the gift is.

I mean she is downright adorable, but if the person I was dating broke down crying because they thought the gift I gave them wasn't good enough, I would have been beyond offended that they more wrapped up in material needs than just being happy that I wanted to be with them on their special day and make them happy. Heck, if I witnessed a friend of mine crying because their boyfriend or girlfriend gave them a gift they didn't want, I wouldn't glare at their boyfriend/girlfriend like they were a horrible person (like Clawdeen and the others did), I would have told my friend that it was rude to be focused on what they got rather than the nice gesture of someone getting them anything at all.

So yeah, I think it is a nice change for someone to look at Draculaura negatively. I mean it makes logical sense anyway that someone in the school wouldn't like her, no one is liked by everybody, not even the nicest person out there.

Thanks for supporting my decision. I really bloody hate Draculaura, but her outfits are so damn adorable I can't help but buy her dolls. I would hate to have a friend like that in real life. A lot of my friends can't afford to buy me gifts, so even if they bought the weirdest effing thing imaginable, just knowing they spent money on me would make me burst into tears with happiness and hug them until their ribs cracked. Also, WHY THE HELL DOES SHE GET A CAR?! Some ghouls have to WORK for an un-living. Nizhoni busts her ass working three jobs just to feed her video game obsession and help her dad pay the rent since he works in telecommunications and that doesn't pay that well. GRRRRR it bugged me.

It definitely strikes me as a realistic way of behaving when raised by her father. From what I gathered in her daydream of how her birthday party would be, her dad seems to think the world of her and spoils her rotten, so naturally she equates how much people spend on her to how much she means to them. Still I really don't like girls with that personality. It makes them seem so childish, like a kid throwing a tantrum about getting a dollhouse for Christmas, but not the dollhouse they wanted (anyone seen the movie Babe?)

That just isn't a character I'd want for a role model in a franchise that wants to have role models for kids. Frankie and Abbey and Lagoona and Ghoulia are great role models. Some of the other canon characters... not so much. Valentine said she had a big heart, but only when lavished with jewelry and clothes. Heebie pranks her more often than others, and sometimes when Cordula's drinking her daily blood from her canteen (so Draculaura can't see it), she "accidentally" knocks it out of her hand in front of Draculaura so she faints when the blood splatters over the floor.

Lol, something tells me Heebie wouldn't be much of a role model either. "That person really grinds my gears...let's mess with them!" XD

XD A good series needs villains. Morticia is cold and cruel and distant, Heebie is a malicious demon child, and Clawdia is the brains of the pranks, though she's so bookish you couldn't tell. Conflict is what makes a story, and you'll need a few unlikeable characters for the protagonists to defeat. At least she speaks her mind and is proud of who she is.

While many ocs have that trait, it isn't unreasonable to do so, you know. If you look at the webisodes themselves (since most people making ocs for Monster High do it with the webshow in mind and not the books)Cleo may go on and on about being Queen of the school and how her subjects love her but she seems to only be tolerated by her own friends due to how rude and self absorbed she can be. Don't get me wrong the girl has her good points, but she considers them her flaws so people don't see them much. She's the epitomize of a 'cliche' girl from high school; the bossy teen who's parents did more harm than good by spoiling her and she doesn't know who to talk to people without being rude or condescending.

Point is, it isn't surprising that people choose her as the ghoul from the series for their ocs to have a problem with, since many people try to make OCs that are well liked instead of jerks and therefore wouldn't get along with a meaner girl.

Not trying to be rude or anything. Just trying to point out that while it may strike you odd or just a fad to list Cleo as a dislike, most artist probably go by that reasoning for why they don't think their oc would like her.

she is a good person, she doesn't need to be hated on, besides, she was RAISED and TAUGHT that he was to set an example for her people, and lead them, its hard to go against what your taught by your father and those around you when your an Egyptian Princess

Yes, but understand how others would perceive her behavior. If someone in school was rude or condescending to someone else, the gut reaction for most people would be to be offended. The same could be said for people who are bullies (not that Cleo is one, mind you but I needed a comparison of how people are shaped by their environment and then looked down on or disliked by others for it). Many bullies out there are these horrible evil monsters that love being hurtful to others, many of them were raised in less than ideal homes and seek to make others feel as bad as they do. But most people don't automatically think of that when they encounter a bully, all they see is someone being mean and think "what a horrible person!"
The same could be said for people raised in strict households being viewed as jerks for having 'no nonsense' personalities and not putting up with as much horsing around as their friends (grew up with girls like that. Well meaning girls, but their need for order made them boss others around unintentionally). And kids who are raised in homes and encouraged for being 'gifted' often come off as stuck up for taking pride in their talents. They don't intend to come off that way and their parents don't realize that their influence has made socializing harder for their children.

Cleo doesn't deserve to be hated, but from the perspective of a normal high school kid, her attitude would make it hard for people to get along with her and be quick to judge her. Look at how some of her friendships on the series started off, like with Operetta. Operetta's first thought at Cleo's behavior was less than positive, but a natural reaction to how Cleo acted towards her (though I don't blame Cleo for being mad at the person that she had come to believe was stealing her boyfriend, I would have acted the same).
