A special gift for my good friend , whose birthday is on June 15th. It's also a piece of fanart for her Transformers fanfiction, As We Come Together.In the story, Chase Banes - an OC in the story - becomes Hound's best human buddy after spending some time with the severely damaged Autobot. They care about and look out for each other, and their friendship never dies.
This is a picture of Hound (movieverse) hanging out with Chase, enjoying the beauty of nature. Hound never appears in Michael Bay's two films, but he is a playable character in Transformers: The Game, and here's the design of his movieverse appearance: [link]
I used that design to draw the Hound in this picture, only simplified some details and changed the paintjob here. Forgive me if this picture looks kind of surreal or awkward due to the weird proportion - I was too occupied with drawing the movieverse robot right that I totally forgot to save enough space for Chase, and I couldn't erase and redraw the lineart because that would make the pencil sketch become very messy. So I drew a tiny Chase on Hound's shoulder in order to put them together in one scene, which made Hound look as huge as Optimus Prime in this picture... *face palm*
Anyway, I'm glad that I finally finished this pic. Drawing a movieverse Cybertronian is so difficult! Sometimes I really admire those people who designed these complicated giant alien robots...

Not sure if you know but Hound is also going to be in the upcoming Age of Extinction film.
Although he looks different but it is a good different although he looks more like Bulkhead.

Yes, I know he will be in the movie. Although I'm a little disappointed when I saw this Bayverse Hound... he looks too much like Bulkhead. And he looks too old for my liking. It would be more fitting if they just named this character "Bulkhead" rather than "Hound", seriously.

I think its because his personalty was not like Bulkhead's and that's why they changed his name to Hound
but hey he is in his original green colors which besides OP and Bee no one else has has their original colors.

Probably. Although Bay's version of Hound is more like Ironhide. Kind of confusing, since the two characters are very different. Guess we still need a trigger happy guy after Ironhide's death in DOTM.

Considering the character's personality and behavior, they should have named this new guy Kup. Although I would never understand why a robot has beard/potbelly. Looks weird to me.

Personality?
What personality all we got is him flicking a bullet at Joshua (Stanly Tucci)
and he has been descrided as a jolly character (he kinda looks like Santa so..)

Well, the recent trailers/teasers showed us more of this new Hound's personality. I think his character is more like Bulkhead.
And boy, I actually cracked up when I saw the Santa comment. He DOES look like a giant, metal version of Santa Claus. Maybe it's his beard.

Drift is cool too he is a triple changer (Car and helicopter).
Crosshairs though is an unlikable asshole who even leaves the humans a few times in the battle when he i supposed to be protecting them he even says that he should be the leader instead of Optimus.

i'm starting to like Crosshairs more but my like for Hound decreased a little i still enjoy him the most but i find him a little to blood thirsty.
Drift remains the same ad i an disappointed with how much a waste Stinger was.

I really liked the Autobots in this movie. And yes, Stinger's lack of personality was a disappointment. I thought he and Bumblebee might have an epic fight or something. Apparently Stinger was merely a drone that blindly followed Galvatron's orders.

It would be even more interesting if Stinger could have a real one-on-one fight against Bumblebee. The Lego style transformation looked cool at first, but the fight scenes were kind of lame. Those drones were too easy to kill.

Yeah the drones were kinda weak but they looked cool.
I can remember all of Stinger's scenes too
1. The showroom scene
2. Being deployed with Galvatron to attack the Autobots
3. Getting activated by Galvatron and standing like a bad ass
4. Driving through Hong Kong before transmorphing and deploying his gun
5. Firing at Hound and Bee with a couple of drones before rolling out of the way of Bee's shot which took out the other drones before firing back
6. Right before Bumblebee jumps onto Strafe you can see that Stinger has Bee on the ground and beating him upΒ and then the Bee vs Stinger fightΒ

... wow, you must be a real Stinger fan. So many things happened in the movie, I could barely remember those scenes in details. Kudos to you!

Yeah so many things happened but at the same time not much happened in this movie.
Stinger unfortunately was the one who i was looking forward to before i went to the theaters so Stinger's role was the only letdown to me besides the white and purple Sonic not being an Autobot and the previous autobot cast (Sideswipe, Dino, Roadbuster, Topspin and Wheelie) not having their fate be explained and out of them probably only Sideswipe might return in TF5
At least Ratchet and Leadfoot had proper closure.

Agreed. I look forward to seeing Sideswipe again if Bay ever decides to bring him back in TF5. Movies nowadays tend to focus on those special visual effects or all the 3D things more than everything else, and the plot/characters aren't really that solid. It's a shame that we couldn't get to know more about those characters' whereabouts when a good amount of TF4 was still about EXPLOSIONS. Bay really loves to blow things up.

Oh my goodness, oh my goodness... There are no words to describe how truly amazing this is! It's the best birthday present anyone could have ever drawn for me! I love it! I love it more than anything in the whole wide world! From the very moment I saw it, I was singing with the angels! I knew exactly who it was standing all green and sweet in the middle of the pic! By god, I was squealed for Hound so bad! Just about cried because he looks so good! I didn't even see Chase until I clicked into the picture, and then I had to laugh at her lounging like an alley cat on his shoulder- that's so her! 
My dear, you could not have surprised me more with with wonderful and outstanding birthday gift! I only got two gifts this year, this and Cirque du Soleil tickets, and they're definitely neck and neck to being the best b-day presents I have ever received. Ever!

I really wasn't expecting anything for my b-day, since you already posted New Life with Megatron and Sideswipe! I honestly thought that was my b-day present! Hound is... well, he's Hound! 
While writing for Hound in As We Come Together, I've had some running idea of what his Cybertronian self would look like, but never have I actually thought of a solid form to put down to paper. The moment that I saw this though, I was shouting and squealing at the screen- "That's Hound! That's Hound!" It was practically a dream come true to see him come to life like this! The pic you used as a reference is really impressive- I'm not a video game player myself, so I probably never would have seen what Hound looked like in the game without you posting that link! He's not a handsome mech like Optimus, but he sure is a cutie! 
The fact that you threw Chase in there is only a bonus! Can't have sweet little Hound in a pic without Chase mucking it up somewhere!

Well, I know I've promised to make a fanvid for your B-Day present before, but I just couldn't finish all the pics I need for the vid on time... So, I tried to do a Hound/Chase picture instead. Sorry that I couldn't finish the fanvid before your birthday, there're too many pics that need to be drawn and colored, and I admit I draw kind of slow... Anyway, if I fail to finish enough pics for the fanvid, you can still have those pics for your WE fanart. *wink*
And yeah, Hound does look cute and adorable in this form! And who could be his best companion other than our dear, tough Chase?

Aw, hun, don't worry about not being able to finish the fanvid on time. From the sounds of it, the vid sounds like quite the personal project. You have enough going on in your life without creating any extra stress for yourself. If you find that doing the vid is too much, you don't have to finish it. Just hearing that it's giving you trouble is making me feel bad. Please don't stress out too much over it! I'm more than happy with the Chase/Hound pic you did here! It's a lovely gift that I'm going to cherish for a life time!
Just out of curiosity, though, since you've been hinting at the size of fanvid... what kind of pictures are you doing, exactly? I'm sorry if I'm being nosy and bothering you about it, but I'm just a little curious about it. Like what pictures you have done or what you're thinking of doing. If that's too much of me prying, you don't have to say thing. I realize I might be asking too much...

Oh, it's actually a vid which introduces some major characters in your WE series along with some scenes inspired by those one-shots you wrote on FF.Net. Since I can't draw all of the characters in the movieverse robots style, the characters will be portrayed as humans instead. It's become a huge project because of all the pics I need to match the song's length, but I'll try to finish as many pics as possible no matter what. If I fail at completing all the pics I planned to do for the fanvid, I'll just post them on devART as fanart for your stories.

sure just remember to draw the human first in the position you want and get profile pics of the bot you want to draw in all directions from front, back and sides and then have a go.

Hound, oh gosh, the detail you've put into him is awe-inspiring! You've made him come alive and into an actual Bayformer! His optics are a wonderful shade and everything seems to have some extra detail within it! The lighting is perfect and seems to shine upon these two friends! Even the wheel on his shoulder seems like a real wheel that you see in shops! The cannon on his other shoulder reminds me of Ironhide, but I think that Hound would rather be with his human friend, Chase, than go shooting some Decepticon. I love how you can see the elaborate gears and wires in him! His hand was obviously well worked with too! It must've taken some time just to finish Hound! But I believe that Alyson will be incredibly grateful!
Chase herself is really cute! Sitting on Hound's shoulder, she appears to be at peace. I love how her shoes are off and how her hair is all unkempt. It seems like how Chase would act!
Oh, I'm going to start working on my OC tomorrow. Hopefully I'll have it up by Thursday or Friday!

The movieverse Hound is cute, but drawing him is still a great pain to me... I'm not good at drawing mechanic things so the mere sketch of Hound cost me much time. Anyway, I'm glad I managed to finish this pic on time. Next time I'll remember to do the proportion right if I ever have to draw another robot again.

Yeah, he is cute! It looks like a pain though, a huge pain in the arse, as Rose would probably put it! If the sketch took that long, I can't imagine the coloring! The proportions won't be too hard to fix, especially for a fabulous artist like yourself.
