Ah... I would first like to thank , Danielle, Kev, Kobe, Ryoko, Brad, Arcy and Raymond for their support and encouragements! Thank you very much!
A total of 188 unique frames, 104 Layers... at least 72 hours of work.
Time it takes to compile into an animated Gif at 188 frames = 1 minute!
The size of the project in question is 10.3 megs... as opposed to 26.7 megs on my Animated Pokemon Battle.
A little story about Fran... He's a friend of Arien and assists him (along with 2 humans) to seek revenge on humans which are harvesting gems which are formed on Arien's race's foreheads.
Fran is not much of a fighter, but he can use spells.
He hates battling and gets really tired after every battle...
after playing/watching FEDA, Shining Force, Shining Soul, Shining Tears, Dark Stalkers, Wild Knights Gulkeeva, Breath of fire ... and more... *loses breath*
I've noticed that alot of games/anime features wolfings to be nothing but a tank... always armed for melee
hopefully the animation shows a point... give us a darn magic casting wolfling~ *runs away and slams into a brick wall* umm... -end rant-
oh yeah, the battle system is very Tales-ish, because it is XD It's more of Eternia/Narikiri Dungeon style than the other Tales though. *points to Cherry Jelly* XD

Haven't played Shining Force Neo...But I know that the wolfling in that one is a ninja...But I'm sure he's a tank too...
But yea a spell casting wolfling would be nice too, not all anthropomorphic characters have to be tanks...and not all wolf and dragon type characters HAVE to be melee fighters XD

Ohh... I've been curious about that character ever since seeing him in your large poster-style image from Arien's story. *_* I'm glad to learn a bit more about him; it kept slipping my mind to ask about his backstory. ;^^
Anyway, anway. XD; To the picture itself! 72 hours, such dedication~... Some of the effects are really impressive, such as the turning pages and the damage-dealing part of his spell. And the slime monster is ridiculously cute, wow. *laughs*
You captured the 2D-Tales game feeling really well. XD; I was waiting for a little D-Pad meter to come up under his status when he was spellcasting, like it does when you control Keele in Eternia. *_*;;

Awesome, great work on the animation !! and you need to play World of Warcraft, Orcish Shaman (loads of spells, with a great deal of melee) with Ghost wolf form. Closest thing i can think of. Although not a true wolf persona,a ghost wolf running around biting ppl in the ankles with lightning shield on is fun times.
