Hi there... today was one BIG hurdle to finish this good fellow... I hope to have not broken any rules while making this piece for the challenge.Here is my interpretation of a Ancient Maya Iguana using (my closest to) the style of the one and only Nicolas Marlet.
might do another one for kicks.

Hola! hoy termine la ultima parte de la carrera que fue hacer a este personaje, espero no haber roto reglas del reto con esto.
Les Presento mi interpretacion de una Iguana Maya antigua con el estilo (o lo mas cerca que he podido llegar) de Nicolas Marlet.
tal vez haga algun otro trabajillo por diversiΓ³n.

looking at him again, I'm not sure he looks like he lives in the same verse as the Kung Fu Panda animals, but he's still beautiful.

I have to agree with you on that, he indeed looks different from the style...
my main problem is with the feet... animals in kung fu panda tend to have small feet unless they are birds... but i did them this way to have something i could break the norm.
i might start on another entry. wich i hope will fit better.

Sweet. I thought of something like this, only he looked like a monitor lizard, and the feathers were part of him. This is so cool though, I'm really excited to see it.

I think the monitor lizar idea goes good with either african or australian natives.
Tho i won't be animating this fellow.. since all this is home made and well i don't think i can push my machine too far...
