I think that Β«ReverieΒ» is splendid example of portrait photography in three-quarters. The eye contact adds attractiveness. But it seems that she looks through us. She is here and she is nowhere. This photo contains ideal combination of strength and fragility.
Black-and-white implementation is very advantageous choice. In this case our mind feel free to perceive shapes and don't need to distract on colors. This photo is classic three-quarters and main rules are executed. Lens makes good blurred bokeh but some vertical details wants to steal our attention from the model )
Calm shadows and soft light makes this photography crisp, laconic and beautiful.
