I'm not 100% sure, but it looks to me that you turned this wand on a lathe, so I will proceed with the critique under this assumption. First off, I'd like to compliment the simplicity of the design. It doesn't make me go "wow," but the way you focused your turning on the rings separating the handle from the shaft draws the viewer's attention to the wood itself.

The piece of plum wood you used here is really quite nice. Though not obviously figured (I believe I see a bit of figure in the handle), it's free of knots which would distract from the main draw of the wood: the two-tone color divide running lengthwise, which I don't see very often in wands -- I assume it's the divide between heartwood and sapwood.

In any case, your turning and minimalistic finish are both well done, and they work to bring out the beauty of the plum you selected for the wand -- simple, neat, and beautiful.

Thank you for your kind words
That's high praise from someone who did such a vast amount of cool wands himself!
Yes, you assumed right: It is turned on my lathe and the divide is between heartwood and sapwood.
And I really do like simple designs that concentrate on the material rather than drawing attention away from it
The figuring was hard to capture in the picture but it is there
I uploaded a second picture where it is a bit better to see
