Description free time = craft time
In the past weeks i rediscovered my enthusiasm for antlers. So I simply had to build a few antler containers.

A short illustrated tutorial and materials can be found at Lederkram.de

----------

Freizeit = Bastelzeit.

Engraving Antler is quite new to me (to be exact it was my first try)

Well it's damned good work in that case. I've never engraved anything.

It's quite new to me, too.
So it can't be that hard

What did you use for the engravings? Just a chisel? I might have to give this a try if it's so simple.

I used an engraving tool which is normally used for glass.

These are beautiful! These would make excellent needle cases!

That's what they're gonna be once i made all the wooden plugs
Strange as that may seem, for me the plugs are the tricky part.

I completely understand. I've tried carving wooden plugs for powder horns and that seems to be the most tedious part!
