finally done!
i put a lot of effort and time into this, compared to what i usually do, and i do believe it shows. at least, i've never been so content with another fanart i've made, and i do like it! ^^
there are several major differences from the previously submitted WIP. the lineart has been completely removed, i worked a lot on the forehead protector, i re-added the smoke (that i first had, but then removed from the WIP), shading has been improved in places and so on! so, i really hope you will like this!
please comment! favs are welcome too...

Wow ! It's awesome ! The only two problems is see is that the nose is too small and Kakuzu's eyes are green. But it's a really nice coloring !

But I defintily love the way both work together, because it wasnΒ΄t like any akatsuki-team had a teamattack Β°_Β° Itachi and Kisame were more like Dog and Owner XD And Sasori Deidara just hated each other.

Very interesting to hear that coming from a man Β°_Β° To be honest IΒ΄m a big Shonen-ai fan (I know many people do hate it and say it is disgusting , and I think this is very okay, everyone likes different things XD As long as nobody atacks me for being a shonen-ai fan...XD).... so I see more "old-couple-hints" than possible...... But even if I wasnΒ΄t, there is something between them that gives me a good feeling loving them as pair XD
I love their fights. ItΒ΄s just..... you can see that Kishimoto likes them very much. He already gave hidan that "Naruto"-face. I think this is a sign for his affection to bith of them.
Hidan and Kakuzu are the most personal Akatsuki-team so far. They are very popular in Japan too.
WOW I should stop now. It is so hard to write in english when it´s already 2°° in the morning XD and my english becomes so lame... >_<

yup, they are on an entirely different level, compared to the other pairs. i guess that's one of the things that make them very interesting.
popular in japan, are they? i had no idea... *_* they were not introduced in the story when i still lived in japan, so i guess im missing out...
lol, i cant see why you would complain about ur english, ur just as good as any native speaker. and for the record, its now 5.15 in the morning here. i wont even go to bed tonight, cuz im moving to another city (yes, permanently) in only two hours... im hoping to get a little sleep in the car, since its a long ways to go!
oh, and for the record again, i havent heard any childish statements or whatnot at all i guess... and i dont hate shounen-ai either, but that kind of art doesnt really appeal to me though. most of the time, that is. art is not about sex or gender, so as long as the artist is skilled it doesnt matter much to me!

ooo, that's awesome! may i inquire how you do it? there's nothing left of that lineart in this version, but i probably would never have been able to make it like this without it. the size and quality (which was also superb) is vital to a colorist, you know! ^^

Well, it's mostly by using vector drawing programs like Illustrator or Inkscape. Then just cleaning the huge thingy in PSCS2

eh heh.....*can barely tell the difference between this one and your last one XD* ok soo...the headband does indeed look better, i seriously can barely tell with the shading except for a few very specific places (i can see the scar on the nose a little more there...and the eyes are a little better and stuff, its better than the other one, but i can still barely tell lol
